Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about being raised living in "a white bubble." She also explains how that realization has affected the parenting style of her adoptees who are multi-racial. In an interview with actress Katherine Heigl, who plays "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her body didn't matter to her, however, after having a conversation with her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences the two were. "I wanted to know Meg what she thought about being different when she went out with our parents and when she went out on her own. Meg responded "Oh sure! Every all the time!" That made me realize that I had been so naive," Heigl said to her parents. Heigl admitted she became angry and felt that it was important to focus her anger on helping her adopted daughters. Sheigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. Their daughter was adopted by them Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide eight, who is Black and was adopted in 2012.
