Eve Maughan (born in London England) is the daughter actresses Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. Jack as well as George were her little brothers. She was born and educated in England and then Los Angeles. She went to Bedales School before taking her A Levels at Westminster School London. In the following year, she was a student at the Beverly Hills Playhouse before studying English at St Catherine's College Oxford. At Oxford Eve was a part of several student productions including An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers which toured in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Scenes from an Execution as well as The Colour of Justice. Eve has featured in BBC TV dramas The Rotters Club Poirot, Hawking and Stage Beauty as well as films such as Stage Beauty (2004). Eve was a key character in Starter for 10 (2006) as well as Big Nothing (2006) (both she as well as Simon Pegg had American accents). The actress spent much of the first half of the year in India developing a drama mini-series Losing Gemma about backpackers. Eve has appeared as an actor in Trevor Nunn's productions. Her role was reprised in the 2007 Broadway's Broadway Transfer to Rock n Roll by Tom Stoppard. Her background is multiracial and is the daughter of an Indo British father named Anthony Mitra (of British descent) and an Irish mother Nora Downey. She is an English actress is a middle-aged child. She is the older sister of Jason Mitra and a younger brother called Guyan Mitra. Her younger brother is an acclaimed travel journalist and his writings have appeared in Lonely Planet and The Sunday Times.
